About Me Monday!

I was reading Disney Babies Blog today and Jenni posted a "Monday About Me" and suggested others follow suite, so I did!  Here is my "About me Monday" started at Disney Babies Blog!

First Theme Park Memory: I think it was Six Flags in Atlanta Georgia.  I don't have a specific memory of my first trip, I just know we went quite a bit since we lived so close.  Another possibility would be Miracle Strip in Panama City Beach, FL.  I'm secretly sad that they closed it!
First memorable Disney trip: I guess it was our trip in 1991 before my senior year in high school.  It was my 3rd trip down, but I vaguely remember the first two.  We stayed on property and did everything that we could~  MK, Epcot, MGM and Typhoon Lagoon.
First Disney Resort Memory: I remember meeting characters on Main Street during our first and second trips.  I also LOVED the original Journey into Imagination.
Last Disney Trip: December 2010 with my family.  My 2 year old's first trip!
Next Disney Trip: September 2011 with my mom and son.  Can't wait!  All our meals are scheduled at new places we haven't visited before.

Into the Parks - Magic Kingdom
Tomorrowland - Favorite Ride Past and Present: Tomorrowland Transit Authority- People Mover!  That's a favorite... along with Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin... and Space Mountain... and Carousel of Progress is a classic! :)
Fantasyland- Dumbo and Peter Pan.
Liberty Square - Haunted Mansion.
Frontierland- Splash Mountain
Adventureland - Jungle Cruise- at night!
Main Street is probably my favorite place to hang out, look at the details, watch people and visit characters though!
EPCOT
Futureworld Attraction - I love Living with the Land and Spaceship Earth.
Futureworld Restaurant - Garden Grill
World Showcase:
Favorite Snack - Egg Roll in China at the Lotus Blossom
Favorite Drink - Sadly, I've never had anything besides water and diet coke... I'll work on that.  I want to try the frozen drink at France that Samantha Brown likes on the Travel Chanel! :)
Favorite Meal - Definitely not Rose and Crown.  I won't eat there again.  I did however enjoy our meal at Nine Dragons in China.  (Yes, I like Chinese food!!)

Favorite Animal Kingdom Attraction - Kilimanjaro Safari

Favorite Hollywood Studios Attraction- Toy Story Midway Mania and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster

Favorite Non-Park Restaurant - House of Blues in Downtown Disney, Beaches N Cream at the Beach Club Resort

Top 5 Disney animated movies (non pixar)-
1. Little Mermaid

2. Tangled
3. Fox and the Hound
4. Beauty and the Beast
5. Mulan

Now, if you haven't yet, check out how Jenni answered the questions.  Then copy/ paste this survey to your blog and change the answers to fit you!  Don't forget to link back to mine and Jenni's blogs to share the fun! :)

have a magical day!

  4. I thought I commented already, but I can't find it... weird.

Jenn, we are going to Trail's End for dinner one night, The Plaza for lunch and Tusker House for b'fast one day. The other meals will be in our room or at counter service! Can't wait!

  5. Thanks for stopping by!!! I too love Chinese food (good thing since for both adoptions we were there for at least 2 weeks), and Nine Dragons was very good authentic Chinese food. My youngest daughter gobbled up the pepper beef, and when she sees photos of it asks if we can go back! :)

ah...see, I'm dreaming of Disney again!
