Tuesday's Tip: Laundry

If you are staying on property at Walt Disney World, you can take advantage of laundry facilities at each resort.  Pack enough clothes for half of your vacation and wash mid trip.  If you are flying, this is a great way to cut back on the amount of luggage you check or carry on the plane.  If you are driving, it can save space in your trunk.  Plus, it gives you more room for souvenirs!!

It's always nice to come home after a vacation and not have to worry about the mounds of laundry!  If you chose to wash during your vacation, consider packing Purex complete 3 in 1 laundry sheets.  It combines the detergent, fabric softener and anti static all in one sheet.  These are easy to pack and leave your suitcase smelling fresh as well!

The only down side to washing on vacation is the time it takes... but it gives the family a good break at the resort pool while one parent (the mom at our house) washes clothes for everyone!

Don't forget to enter the giveaway through August 7 to win a $25 Disney Gift Card!

  1. Great tip! We always have a "rest" day in the middle of our trip, so it's the perfect day to do our laundry!

  2. I used to make fun of my mom about doing laundry in Disney, now with three kids, I can't imagine NOT doing laundry in Disney! By the way, the mom at this house is also the laundry lady in Disney! :-) It gives daddy some nice father/children time at the pool! LOL!

  3. While I think it's a great tip, I'm just not sure it's for me. I have a problem... I want the kiddos in cute, different outfits in all the photos. If it wouldn't be so much extra luggage, I'd probably even pack them a separate outfit for before and after naps. I'm awful... but still, great tip. It definitely makes sense for those sane people, unlike myself...
