Tuesday's Tip: Disneyland Sites

This week, I'm focusing on Disneyland... you'll see why eventually! ;)  In May of 2010, my husband, oldest son and I went to Long Beach, CA for a work conference.  Thinking this would probably be one of the few, if not only, times Jonathan would have this opportunity, he decided to let me and JAG tag along!  We spent some time in Long Beach, Los Angels and Anaheim.  We spent 2 full days at the Disneyland Resort seeing Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure.

I loved our time at the resort, but it was much too short.   Just like Walt Disney World, you need more than 1 day in each park.  If I could do it over, I would plan a minimum of 3 days to take in both parks and Downtown Disney.  Knowing a decent amount about Walt Disney World, I didn't do as much research for our DL trip as I should have.  I got Birnbaum's Disneyland Resort guide book, but didn't spend as much time as should have reading it.  I also reviewed the Disneyland web site, but again, not enough.  I wish now, I had done more research on this park, since it was probably my only shot at being there.
