Top 6 Things I LOVE about Christmas at WDW: #6

Believe it or not, we only have 6 more days until Christmas.  So, in helping count down the days left until we celebrate, I'm going to count down one thing a day that I LOVE about Christmas at Walt Disney World.

Number 6: Gingerbread at WDW

Last year, I had the chance to see all the Gingerbread "stuff" around the property for the first time!  It was incredible!  Our first day at WDW we did not go into a park.  Instead, we spent the late afternoon and evening resort hopping.  We had our own car so we first made our way to the Polynesian where we parked, walked through the resort and hopped on the Monorail.  We got off at the Grand Floridian and Contemporary to see the decorations including the Gingerbread House and the Gingerbread Tree.  After making our Monorail Loop, we jumped in the car and headed to the Beach Club where we saw the Gingerbread Carousel.    Later in the week as we were exploring the American Adventure at Epcot, we found a small(er) Gingerbread House inside the Liberty Inn Restaurant.

So, since we can't be at WDW this year for Christmas, we decided to make our own Gingerbread Men in honor of all the fabulous Gingerbread "Stuff" at WDW!

A much easier and more colorful way to do it on the right! :)

  1. I don't even like gingerbread but when I walk into the #disney Grand Floridian and smell that house I always want to try it again.

  2. We went this weekend with the intention of resort hopping for the decorations but never made it past the Polynesian : (  The kids just were not into it enough which took the fun out of it so we headed into the parks instead.
