Thoughts for the Week: Jan. 1-7, 2012

This has been a busy week trying to get back into the swing of things!  School has started back and I've been back at work for the first time in almost 2 weeks.  It's nice to get back into a routine, even though I LOVED the time I spent with my family over Christmas.

This past week was pretty busy around A Disney Mom's Thoughts!  Here is a quick recap, in case you missed something.

Sunday, January 1~
Happy New Year!  This year, I'm going to spend time trying to revamp my blog.  I have started a bit, but still need your help.  What suggestions do you have?

The Disney Mom's Dooney & Bourke giveaway!  Have you entered the giveaway?  Several of us from "The Disney Moms" have come together to have this awesome giveaway!  Don't forget to enter for your chance to win.

Monday, January 2~
I shared the story of when I met Gaston from Beauty and the Beast for the first time!  Have you met this rare villain before?

I also shared a guest post on Cooking with Mickey as I reviewed the Trail's End Restaurant at Fort Wilderness.  Have you had the chance to eat here?

Tuesday, January 3~
On Tuesday, I posted the picture and autograph from when I met Prince Phillip at MNSSHP.  He wasn't my favorite prince, just sayin'.

Wednesday, January 4~
Like every Wednesday, I participated in Deb's Wordless Wednesday Hop over at Focused on the Magic.  The theme for this week was "First Footing" from the Scottish tradition.  I added two of my favorite photos of me and Cman at WDW in September taking steps! :)

Another Wednesday post was the comparison of the Incredible's autographs.  I have two now- a stamped and signed one.  Which do you prefer?

Thursday, January 5~
Since I posted the autographs on Wednesday, I decided to post a funny conversation between Mr. Incredible and me at Disney's Hollywood Studios!  How many kids do you think Mr. Incredible has?

Friday, January 6~
Happy Topsy Turvy Day!  Did you know Jan. 6 was Topsy Turvy Day?  Check out a video of the song from The Hunchback of Notre Dame!

Don't forget you can also follow on Twitter and Facebook!

Hi there. It is nice to "meet" you. I am a new visitor to your blog and found it through Carl's "I'd Laugh But All This Halpened To Me" site. I used to work for a division of Disney entertainment and was a frequent Disney goer as a child. :) I'm interested in the different "Blogorails". What is that all about? Thanks for sharing your thoughts and life. Best wishes in 2012.

    Kindest regards.

  3. Brook- I'm so glad you've stopped by!  I love reading about Carl's adventures!  He's a great writer and has so much to share.  Words can't say how jealous I am that you worked with Disney.  That's one regret I have from my college days.  As for the Blogorail- click the tab at the top of my page "Magical Blogorail" it gives a brief story.  You can also go to and click the about us tab to get some of the backstory.  Beth Doda from started it all.  It's been a fabulous way for me to meet more Disney fanatics and make some great friends along the way! :)

    Thanks for stopping by!
