Halloween has come and gone once again. At the Green's house, we had an awesome time! We have WAAYYYY too much candy and some fun new costumes to add to our growing collection. Here is the run down of how we incorporated Disney into our celebration:
For our church Fall Festival, we went as the Roundup Gang. I was obviously Jessie, Cman was Buzz and Big E was Woody. Since you can't see his outfit too well in the left photo, I added another from Halloween night! We tried our best to get Daddy to dress as Buzz too, but he refused. At least we got him to try on the costume at home... and we got a good laugh! :) And, a special thanks to Beth at Pursuing the Magic for helping with the costume. I tried to wear her Jessie costume, but it was not flattering after having a baby 8 weeks ago! I ended up making my costume and wearing her hat.
On Halloween, the boys dressed up for school. Big E went as Mickey (Thanks to Cman's teacher) and Cman was Spiderman (Thanks to Chip & Co!). I didn't want to send Big E in his Woody onesie in case he had a blow out! Since Cman still had on Spiderman when we got home from school, he chose to keep it on for trick or treating and didn't get in on the Toy Story theme that night.
My friends Kathy and Steve always do a spectacular job of decorating their "trunks" for the annual Trunk or Treat at church. I had to include their trunks from the past 2 years: 101 Dalmatians (and all their grandkids were the dalmatians) and Cars. They go above and beyond to make their trunks fun for the kids and since it's a Disney theme- they always get my vote for first place!
I hope you all had a great Halloween! If you had a Disney Halloween, I'd love to see pictures! Feel free to post them on my Facebook page for others to see! :)
Now, to start thinking of next years costume.....
