We planned to run this loop on October 30th, but due to Hurricane Sandy, we had to move it to today! Enjoy!
In honor of Halloween, we are sharing the Disney Villain we wish had more presence in the parks! When I attended Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party in 2011, I realized how few villains are present in the parks during regular hours. I LOVED seeing all the "bad guys" (as my son calls them) at the party. While I have been able to meet a few of these characters in the parks and have seen many in attractions and shows, there was one who stuck out as NOT being very present!
HADES

Wow. What a day. First that restaurant by the bay. And then that, that play, that, that, that Oedipus thing. Man, I thought *I* had problems.
Name's Hades, Lord of the dead. Hi, how ya doin'?
We were so close! So close, we tripped at the finish line! Why? Because our little *nut*-Meg has to go all noble.
Fabulous party. You know, I haven't seen this much love in a room since Narcissus discovered himself. While I've never had the chance to meet him in person, I'll continue to "hunt" for Hades during my future Disney trips. I would love to add him to my list of characters I've met!
And if you ask my 3 year old which "bad guy" he would want to meet at Disney, he would say The Big Bad Wolf or Pete! The Big Bad Wolf has made appearances according to Character Central, but I can't find any documentation that Pete (Mickey Mouse's nemesis) has ever made a "live" appearance.
thanks to Character Central for the Big Bad Wolf image
and to The Disney Wiki for the Pete image.

Good one - that's another one I wouldn't have thought of because I've honestly never watched that movie!
ReplyDeleteI love Disney Character Central... great choices! They would make for very entertaining meet-and-greets!
ReplyDeleteMy kids love Hercules but I think they would be pretty scared seeing Hades, though I would love to see their interactions with him . . . if they dared approach him! LOL!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! I get nervous meeting non-face characters, and I still get a bit nervous walking up to any of the villains! I'd turn the other way if I saw him! LOL!
ReplyDeleteDisney Character Central is awesome. There are so many characters I wish I had the chance to meet! Hades would definitely be fun to get a picture with.
