Tiggerific Tuesday Trivia: Walt Disney World Railroad

Did you know... in 1971 The Walt Disney World Railroad only offered round trip rides around the Magic Kingdom, with Main Street USA being the only station?   The Frontierland station opened in 1972 and in 1990 it had to be torn down to make room for Splash Mountain.   This station was relocated to its current location in 1991. The railroad's third station, which is now part of Fantasyland, opened in 1988 as part of Mickey's Birthdayland- which became Storybook Circus, then Toontown Fair!

  1. Great trivia - I don't remember the round trip, but do remember the old Frontierland Station.

    1. I don't remember the round trip either. It's fun to look back at what once was though!

  2. Wow. That would be a long train ride, but I love the idea of everyone riding the whole way around together.
