I have not had the privilege to attend the Flower & Garden Festival. I've been right before and right after, but never during. So, for today's "Flower & Garden" theme Wordless Wednesday, I chose to use a photo of one of the first topiaries at Walt Disney World back in 1983! I also chose to use words! ;) Enjoy!
Vintage! lol I've never been to the Flower and Garden festival either, but it would be nice to go some day! (Although if I had to choose between that and Food & Wine, I'd definitely pick Food & Wine...)
It is amazing how the topiaries have changed/evolved over the years. Maybe you and I will have to take a spring break trip to check out the festival!! :-) It really is amazing how great Epcot looks with all the topiaries in place!
I loved how you used to find them more often all over Disney World property. They did do a great job with them even back then. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI know! I always knew I was 'in Disney' when the bushes took shape!
DeleteI remember getting so excited as a kid when I saw those as we were arriving at WDW!!
ReplyDeleteme too! I always wanted them in my yard, but dad said no! :)
DeleteGreat pic from way back when, Love that you have these ;-)
ReplyDeleteI had to scan it, obviously! It's also funny how bad our picture taking skills were in the 80s!
