We took our oldest son to Walt Disney World for the first time in 2006. He was 5 1/2 years old and as excited as he could be! In planning for this trip I felt I covered all my bases. I had daily Disney surprises purchased, I had Disney snacks ready to go, I had "homework" for him to do since he was missing school, I had Disney themed clothes ready for us and I even made sure we had time killers for waiting in lines, waiting on meals and waiting on parades.
Our favorite "Time Killer" was Walt Disney World Bingo. I made Bingo cards with 24 things you will see in the parks. I didn't choose specific attractions or characters because you have to be walking around to find those things. I chose things other guests and cast members would have or be doing so we could sit still and find the items. We enjoyed this game the most while we were waiting for Fantasmic to start at Hollywood Studios.
Once I chose the 24 things to find (along with the FREE space in the middle) I copied and pasted the table 2 more times. Then on the 2 copied tables, I switched up all the things to find. That way all of us are looking for the same things (so we could help JAG find his and read the words) but we won't all "win" at the same time. When I had 3 different cards ready (one for each of us in our party) I printed them on card stock and laminated them. Then I was lucky enough to find a pack of mini dry erase markers at Wal-Mart that had erasers on the caps. These would be perfect for us to use in the parks!
If you use these Bingo cards on your trip, I'd love to hear about it! Have fun & ENJOY!
