MagicBand Budget iPhone App Review {Sponsored} | A Disney Mom's Thoughts

{Sponsored Post: I received a free copy of the MagicBand Budget iPhone App to review. All opinions are my own}

This summer I was given the opportunity to review the MagicBand Budget app for my iPhone. While I have not had the opportunity to use this app "live" in the parks yet, I have enjoyed using it at home, becoming familiar with it before our next trip. I know from past trips, the Disney receipts can add up quickly. If families aren't careful, the vacation budget can be blown in a hurry. With the MagicBand Budget app by DKDesign, you have a much better chance of staying within your vacation budget.

One thing users of this app should know is this app does not communicate with your Walt Disney World Magic Bands in any way. This is an app where guests have to manually track vacation spending. This is noted in the description of the app.
*** We are not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by or in any way officially connected with the Walt Disney Company. *** We are an Independent developer. This app does NOT link up with your magicbands, you have to manually enter costs.
This app is used to manage your budget. You can set the budget and track your spending through the app. You add individual transactions for all your purchases. You can choose the budget categories within the app for your spending or you can delete these apps and add your own. You can record not only the category, but the amount, description, date and time. You have the ability to view a pie chart to show how much you spend within each category. There is also an area where you can track savings goals for your trip. In addition to the budget tracking, there is also a bonus section with Info, Tips and Tricks.
I think this app is great, if you want to take the time to track everything. If staying within your budget is a priority for you, this app is for you! In actuality, this app could be used to help families or individuals stay within any budget. It's not limited to use only at Walt Disney World. I can see advantages of using it on a regular basis.

The Magic Band Budget app, was released on July 1st, 2014. and can be purchased through the iTunes store for use with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch for $2.99.
