Disney Games from Wonder Forge {Review} | A Disney Mom's Thoughts

Recently, our family received two wonderful games from Wonder Forge that will make perfect Christmas gifts for any Disney fan this season!  We have all enjoyed playing Pictopia: The Ultimate Picture- Trivia Family Game and Star Wars Face Off Dice Game. Both games were just a bit too hard for my almost 6 year old, but with our help, he did fine and loved them both.  My 2 year old was way too young for both, but made up his own rules so he could play too!

From the Wonder Forge web site about Pictopia:
Families team up in this uniquely collaborative yet competitive trivia game with 1,000 questions covering the World of Disney! During the game, everyone gets a chance to show off their knowledge – from Disney Jr. and Disney XD to the Disney Parks and classic films. Players place wagers based on knowledge of those images, and then work together or on their own, to answer the question.
With my almost 6 year old, we had to help with the wagers.  He didn't quite get that, but he LOVED answering the questions.  For our family, and to best include the 2 year old, we did better just asking the questions to each other.  Or, just identifying the names of the characters and the movie/ TV show they are in!  I can totally see this game getting a lot of use over the next few years as both boys mature and grow!
From the Wonder Forge web site about Star Wars Face Off:
Go head-to-head in this action-packed bluff 'n' battle dice game! Roll hero combos to rack up points or push your luck and "go villain" to steal the win! Pack it all up in the collectible cup and play anywhere!
This game was a fast favorite just because of the title! Anything Star Wars is a hit at our house right now.  My husband and I did a much better job playing this game.  The boys enjoyed rolling the dice!  Obviously, the 2 year old was again, way too young.  The almost 6 year old could play with our help.  He did not understand the bluffing part, so we "skipped" that part!  He had fun rolling the dice, adding up the points, and deciding which dice to re-roll.  For me, this game reminded me of Yahtzee.  I have so many fun family memories of Yahtzee as a child and look forward to making similar memories with my boys in the future with Star Wars Face Off!
Pictopia, a favorite, even if
you're too young to play!
