#DisneySide @ Home Celebration | A Disney Mom's Thoughts

I received free products in order to host a Disney Side @ Home Celebration.  The opinions expressed here are my own.

I think it's been one of the craziest months ever.  Between 10 inches of snow, sickness, computer issues, an inch of ice, school closings, travel and a wedding, I'm happy to bring to you our #DisneySide party!!

In January, I shared with you the amazing box of goodies I was sent to help with our #DisneySide party.  After looking through this box, we decided to use everything that was in the box.  Last year, we had a Magic Kingdom themed party and added so much to what was given to us.  All of our food and activities centered around our favorite park.  This year, our box was so complete, all we added was the food.  We used all the supplies from our box and used old supplies we already had from previous parties.

My husband smoked a Boston Butt for dinner and I added different sides, snacks and desserts.  My favorite part of the meal was the Mickey Mouse cake and the Duff Tie Dye cupcakes!  I'm always a sucker for desserts.  We also added Mickey Mouse shaped rice krispy treats, Chex mix with Mickey pretzels, veggies and dip, and chips.  For the kids, we got Good 2 Grow juice with Disney characters for the tops.

Most of our party was spent hanging out.  We attempted to play Bingo, trivia and other games from our party kit, but the kids were too excited to "play" so we gave up on the organized games!  We had lots of Pirate sword fights, lots of photos with props from past parties and plenty of time coloring pictures of our favorite Disney characters!

While everyone was encouraged to dress up as a Disney character, not everyone did.  We were lucky enough to have Ralph, Felix and Vanellope make an appearance though!  At the beginning of the night, we had one Pirate and a Dalmatian loaned to us from Cruella, but the Dalmatian quickly transformed into a mini Jack Sparrow!

The goodie bags were quite a hit too- especially with the little girls!  My boys helped add stickers to some white gift bags for all the loot.  Each bag was filled with the purple "grass" from our party box and all the surprises- tattoos, pencils, luggage tags, princess nail polish, HP photo paper, coupons, card games and Princess Palace Pets.  The girls were THRILLED with the Palace Pets. Good thing we only had 2 girls and 2 Palace Pets! :)

Thank you to Mom Select, Disney Parks, Wilton, Duff Goldman, HP, Snuggle Wish, and All!
