Mickey and the Beanstalk at Walt Disney World | A Disney Mom's Thoughts

As part of our Family Movie Night Resolution, it's been fun to see how so many of the older movies still have a presence at Walt Disney World. I remember seeing Mickey and the Beanstalk as a child, but didn't realize it was part of the full length, Fun and Fancy Free. This movie has quite the presence in Fantasyland!
Once you go through Cinderella Castle into Fantasyland, you will find the store, Sir Mickey's, on your right. If you pay attention, you can see the beanstalk vines poking through the windows and rafters of this shop.  Inside, you'll find Mickey and several other nods to this short, Mickey and the Beanstalk.
Thanks to James and Lisa from Home Is Where The Mouse Is for this image!
My favorite is Willie the Giant.  You may not even realize he's in there! Look close, under the ceiling, above the racks of clothes. You can see Willie's fingers "lifting" the roof and peeking in (turn your head sideways!). Below is the image from the movie where Willie is lifting the roof and looking in on the girl's birthday party!

Thanks Disney, for keeping these older movies alive in your parks! I can't wait until we finish watching all the animated movies and can go back to Walt Disney World and see where they nod to these classics!
